The ePAQ-9410 Multifunction Gateway is a part of the QEI family of Distribution Automation Products. It provides
communications capabilities (and other features) as follows:



Three RS-422 backbone ports and one Irig RS-485 port (RJ45 x4)



Four RS-232/RS-485 device ports (RJ45 x4)



Two RS-232 ports (bit or byte oriented) (RJ45 x2)



Two USB Host ports (USB-A)



Two Ethernet ports 100BaseFX (Multimode ST)



Four Ethernet ports 100BaseTX Copper.



Irig-B time via modulated BNC (input/output) / Fiber / RS-485



NTP time (peer or client)



Two Bell 202T modems (bit or byte oriented)



SD Card (user installable from front panel, QEI installed on CPU board).

RS232/RS485 device ports are substation hardened and available via RJ45 connectors with integral TX/RX Led
indicators. RS232 ports are tri-stateable for redundancy capability between two units. Bit oriented RS-232 ports are
non-isolated. The ePAQ-9410 is housed in a 19inch rack mount (or surface mountable) 3U enclosure. It includes a
universal power supply that accepts 48 to 125Vdc, or 120/240/277Vac input.
