6.9.1 Introduction
The ePAQ-9420 provides additional communications ports. Sixteen additional RS-
232/RS-485 ports (via RJ45 connectors, ports 20 thru 35), or eight additional serial fiber
ports (via ST connectors, ports 20/22/24/26/28/30/32/34) are provided.
The ePAQ-9425 provides additional communications ports. Sixteen additional RS-
232/RS-485 ports (viaDB9 connectors, ports 20 thru 35), are provided.
Each RS-232/RS-485 port can be configured for either single ended RS-232 interface,
or for RS-485 differential half duplex interface.
6.9.2 RS-232/RS-485 Connections (RJ45):
