2.1.1 AQS firmware upgrade
The AMP300 device embeds an
AQS
firmware (V9.10.10 or above). It could be require to upgrade it in case some new evolutive or corrective
AQS
firmware versions are available.
To update your AMP300 device with a new
AQS
firmware version, download the
aosp-amp300-setup-9.YY.ZZ.fqs
from the Qeedji Website .
☛ Both
AQS
firmware upgrade or downgrade are supported.
☛ After an
AQS
firmware upgrade, the AMP300 device configuration, the user data partition and the user APK are kept.
The
AQS
firmware version upgrade can be done by:
putting the
.fqs
archive on an USB storage device then by inserting it in the AMP300 USB-C connector ( USB 1 or USB 2 ). For further
information, refer to the chapter § AQS firmware upgrade by USB .
putting the
.fqs
archive on the
.software/
directory of the WebDAV server. That requires to user Web UI Admin credentials. For further
information, refer to the chapter § AQS firmware upgrade by WebDAV .
AQS firmware upgrade by USB
Copy the
aosp-amp300-setup-9.YY.ZZ.fqs
archive at the root directory of an USB storage device and insert it on the USB-C connector ( USB 1 or USB 2 )
of the AMP300 device.
☛ In case several supported files type are present (
.fqs
,
.apk
,
.js
), the firmware installation is done in priority.
◬
If the USB storage device contains several supported
.fqs
firmware files, the firmware upgrade can not be done and no message appears.
Plug the USB storage device. This message should be displayed.
☛ The copy duration is depending on the firmware size. It is roughly 1 min.
This message is then displayed until the USB storage device is unplugged.
