12 Connecting the Inverter to Battery Packs
CAUTION
■
Before connecting electrical cables, make sure the AC circuit breaker, PV switch,
and battery DC switch are OFF.
■
Batteries can be replaced only by qualified personnel. If the battery needs to be
replaced, you must use a battery that meets the manufacturer’s specifications.
■
Make sure to match the polarity of the cables properly when installing. Otherwise,
it may cause electric shock or the product may permanently be damaged. This
damage is not covered by the warranty.
■
Before batteries are connected, all other connections should be done and the
battery interrupter must be off.
■
Battery parallel connection should be performed only when the voltage difference
between the battery packs are within 2 V.
Connect the cables as follows:
BAT IN
BMS IN
BAT IN
BMS IN
BAT OUT
BMS OUT
BAT OUT
BMS OUT
When connecting the cable for BMS, check the protruding part of the cable
terminal.
Make sure the cable aligns with the terminal and slots in without resistance.
Turn the sealing nut to tighten the connection.
