Why isn’t the mouse I have plugged into the front USB port working?

The front USB port is only for backup to USB flash drive, and does not support a USB mouse. Please use the
USB port on the rear panel if using a mouse.

How do I input password and digital numbers?

To input password and digital numbers click the box behind

password

or

where you need to input

numbers, and then a small keyboard will appear. Please select number or letter to input (the default password
is 123456), or you can use the digital keys on the front panel, or the digital keys on the remote control.

How do I upgrade the firmware on the DVR?

After you download the new firmware from the Q-See website at www.q-see.com, copy it onto a USB flash drive.
Then select “

upgrade

” in the menu.

Notice

:

Do not turn the system power off during the upgrade process! Doing so may damage the

chipset and prevent the DVR from starting.
