MULTIREADER CABLE INTERFACE

3.1 MultiReader Power Supply and Data Interface

The cable interface to the MultiReader is dependent on which option and version that is
delivered. 24VDC, with 48VDC and 12VDC as options can power the MultiReader.

The normal data interface is as follows:

Circular connector:

RS422 (RS232)

Han-Modular connector:

RS422 combined with twisted pair, optical or coaxial Ethernet.

Information on how and where the different signals are located in the interface connectors is
given below (Fig. 3.2.1 and 3.3.1).
