5 Operation
5.1 Switch on the RWM MC
Switch on the RWM MC as follows:

Press and hold the Start button for
3 seconds.
Two signal tones

Homescreen is displayed:

Type, version number, manufacturer,
and year of manufacture of the
RWM MC are shown:

Message”Initialisiere Auslesesoft-
ware”(Initiate readout software) is
displayed:

The device is switched on and is in
stand-by mode.
5.2 Connect the RWM MC to the
smoke alarm device
Reading out of the smoke alarm device
first requires a connection between the
RWM MC and the smoke alarm device.
Establish the connection as follows:
(1)
Remove the Testing / stop button
(smoke alarm device cover).
