3. INSTALLATION AND PRECAUTIONS
1.
Ensure that the piping system is properly connected before installation and check that impurities,
welding debris and residues have been cleaned inside the piping.

Ensure that the pump is located in a dry and ventilated environment to avoid short circuits due to
moisture or splashing on the casing, and to ensure its readiness for service and replacement.
3.
The protective cover should be added for outdoor installation; while measures should be taken to
prevent splashing and to avoid risk of electric shock in indoor installation.
Warning: Do not install in the bathroom to prevent steam, water or moisture from entering the junction
box, causing short circuits.
4.
When the pump is fully installed, switch on the power supply as a pilot and set the speed adjustment
switch to the maximum rated level to check if the start is normal. The running time of the pilot can-
not be longer than 10 seconds to avoid idle running.

We strongly recommend to the esteemed users to install shut-off valves at the inlet and outlet ports
for the following pump service and maintenance.

6. When the pump is supplying water for heating, do not touch the pump and/or other piping to
avoid burns.

The power plug must be strictly grounded. Firmly connect the GND terminal of the power plug to the
grounding hole of the earthed socket, do not attempt to bypass the GND plug of the pump.

The conspicuous safety caution markings must be set during operation of the pump to prevent any
accidents.
9.
The power supply must be disconnected first before adjusting the location of the pump or before
any action that may touch the pump while it is working to avoid any accident.

Regularly check the pump and replace it timely in case of damage 11. Regularly check the insulation
resistance of the pump, the insulation resistance in cold state cannot be less than 50MΩ; and the
insulation resistance cannot be less than 2MΩ when closed at working temperature.

The power cable can only be replaced by parts corresponding to the components.

In winter, when the ambient temperature is below 0oC, the piping should be drained in case the
pump stops working to avoid the crack in the piping.
13.
The heat supply pipes should not always be made up with hard water to prevent the limescale con-
tained in the water from clogging the impeller.
