2.1 Pump description
The pump EU W series, ultimate total pressure:
< 0,5 mbar (abs.) for EU300W
< 10 mbar for EU300W/B
see attachment ST5373 for the specifications
Rotary vane vacuum pumps are lubricated with oil recirculation system.
The cooling is made by means of a water/oil heat exchanger.

5.10 Cooling system hook-up
Connect the inlet IN and the outlet OUT of the water circuit using pipes
having the same sizes as the ports of the heat exchanger (see ST5373),
following the arrows on the casing as far as water flow direction is
concerned (Fig.1).
The pumps can be connected either to closed systems (i.e. using the water
system installed for other machines) or connecting the inlet of the heat
exchanger IN directly to the main water system, having the water discharge
OUT disposable.
We recommend the use of rubber flexible pipes suitable for hot water. Any
cooling emulsion is necessary, but if you have a closed liquid circulation
cooling system using emulsions, we recommend to contact P.V.R. technical
department who will check the compatibility of the heat exchanger with the
emulsions in use.
WARNING
: Do not use any sea water for cooling media
HARMFUL SUBSTANCES EMISSIOS: if the water heat
exchanger fails, the discharged water might be contaminated by the
lubricant.
