GIGABIT SWITCH CONNECTION GUIDE
Gigabit Switch configuration allows you to combine any number of transmitters and receivers that can be
supported by your network switch. If using POE, it is not necessary to connect the power adapter of the
transmitters or receivers.
Gigabit Switch Requirements:
1)
Support IP Multicasting layer 2.
2)
Support and have enabled IGMP functions
3)
Enable Jumbo Frames set to 8000 or greater.

for additional information about Gigabit Switch configuration.
Recommended set up:
1)
Use the
CONFIGURE TRANSMITTER OUT OF BOX
(page 2) and
CONFIGURE RECEIVER OUT OF BOX
(page 3) steps to set up all the Transmitters and Receivers. Set each Transmitter to its own unique
Transmitter ID, using the remote or onboard keys.
2)
If necessary, to set the IP Addresses of your Transmitters and Receivers, use the steps outlined in
APPENDIX A
before connecting the units to your switch.
3)
Install the Transmitters at intended source devices, connecting the source device via HDMI In on the
Transmitter.
Connect the Transmitters’ UTP LAN ports via CAT5e/CAT6 to the network switch.
4)
Install the Receivers at the intended TVs, connecting via the HDMI Out on the Receiver. Connect the
Receivers’ UTP LAN ports via CAT5e/CAT6 to the network switch.
5)
On each Receiver, set the desired Transmitter ID to connect to, using the remote or onboard keys.
