Transom Door
Do not use the transom door when the boat
is in motion. DO NOT leave the transom
door unlatched. Latch it in the full “OPEN” or
full “CLOSED” position.
Stern Bench Seat
The stern bench seat is hinged and opens to
allow access to the fishbox. Removing the
fishbox provides access to the stern bilge,
the bilge pump and other equipment
installed there. Make sure the seat latched
before getting underway.
To open the Stern Bench Seat
Tilt the engines to the full down position,
release the latches at the front of the seat
and open the transom door. The seat can
now be opened.
Removing the Stern Bench Seat
The batteries are located below the stern
bench seat and fishbox. If the batteries are
discharged and the engines are tilted in the
full "UP" position, the bench seat cannot be
opened and must be removed to provide
access to the batteries. Remove the bench
seat by releasing the latches at the front of
the seat, opening the transom door and
removing the pins in the hinges at the rear of
the seat.

UNSAFE BOAT HAZARD
Failure to close and secure transom
door/gate while underway can expose
passengers to rotating propellers,
throw them overboard or swamp the
boat which can cause death or seri-
ous injury. Close and secure door/
gate before getting underway.

CAUTION
Inspect transom door/gate fittings
periodically for wear, damage or loose
fit. Repair or replace before using
your boat.

seat before getting underway.

Keep hands away from the seat mech-
anism when opening and closing.

Damage to the engine cowlings, stern
seat and transom door can occur if the
stern seat is not opened properly.
