FUEL BED / REAR PANEL RETENTION 

 

 

  

 

   Removal of the log/coal fuel bed and rear panel: 
 
 

1.  Ensure the fire is switched off 
2.  Carefully remove individual logs from the log bed (note: the coals are fixed to the 

coal bed and are not intended to be removed individually) 

3.  Loosen fuel bed locater screws allowing tabs to rotate down 
4.  Remove the fuel bed  
5.  Bend rear panel location tabs forward to release the ceramic panel (brick or reed 

dependant on model) 

6.  Remove panel by sliding forward from the bottom edge 
7.  Replacement is the reverse of removal
