IV - OPERATION
Before operating your tiller for the fist time, study this section and real carefully the “safe operation”.
1) STARTING THE ENGINE.
a.
Turn fuel cock (2) lever on the fuel strainer to OPEN.
b.
Move shift lever to neutral position. (3)
c.
Movre clutch lever to OFF. (6)
When you release the clutch lever, it is automatically become “OFF” position.
d.
Move thtottle control lever to mid range. (7)
e.
Move choke knob (1) on A
f.
Move engine start switch to ON (8).
g.
Pull recoil starter rope
If engine fails to start in two or three pulls, push choke knob and continue using the recoil starter.
After engine starts, push choke knob slowly B.

2) STARTING THE MACHINE
a. Move engine control lever to LOW. (1)
b. Release clutch lever completely. (8)
c. Change shift lever to the position where requires the work.
d. Unlock the safety latch (9).
e. Grip clutch lever slowly and then the machine starts. (8)
j. Move engine control lever to increase engine revolution. (1)
NOTE :
Shift lever should be used only when the clutch lever is OFF position.
Return the shift lever to Neutral position if it is hard to shift to any positions. Engage the clutch (hold the
clutch lever) and disengage the clutch (release the clutch lever) then shift again.
When change the shift lever to SRT (Standard Rotating tines) position, the handle should hang up in order
not to touch the resistance stake to the ground.
REMARK :
If grip the clutch lever quickly, it is the reason of trouble for sudden start or sudden stop of engine.
So, the shift lever should grip SLOWLY.
3) STOPPING THE MACHINE
a. Tiller movement and tines will stop quickly when the clutch lever is released. (8)
b. Push throttle lever to LOW position. (1)
c. Change shift lever to NEUTRAL position. (3)
d. Change engine switch (4) to OFF. (2)
4) TURNING THE MACHINE
a. Release the clutch lever.
b. Change differential lever lever to OFF. (6)
c. Move the throttle control lever to low speed.
