5.5.5.1   Key Repeat

•

In  the 

Keyboard Properties

 dialog box, open the 

Repeat 

tab.

Enable Character Repeat

Tapping in the checkbox next to this option enables the key behaviour you specify in this 
dialog box.

Repeat Delay

The position of the slider determines how long a key must be held down before it begins to 
autorepeat. 

Repeat Rate

The value assigned for the 

Repeat Rate

 parameter determines how quickly the key you 

press repeats and is measured in characters per second (cps). Sliding the bar to the left slows 
the repeat rate, and sliding the bar to the right increases the repeat rate.

Backlight

Note:

Use the field at the bottom of this dialog box to test the repeat delay and rate
