Using Web Interface to Manage the Access Point

AP-8000 User Guide

NOTE:

If you have enabled Local MAC Authentication, then do not enable Radius MAC Authentication.

•

Radius Accounting:

Select the Radius Accounting status.

•

Entry Status:

Enable the Entry Status for the radio. If you disable the radio, then you cannot configure the

Wireless VAP for the disabled radio.

5. Click

NOTES:

•

A change in the VLAN ID and VLAN priority requires reboot of the device.

•

Follow the above mentioned steps if you want to configure VAP for Interface 2.

Properties

To configure the properties of the wireless interface,

1. Navigate to

Configuration > Wireless > Interface 1 > Properties

. The

Wireless Interface - 1 Properties

page

appears.

2. Configure the following parameters:

•

Status

: Select Status to enable the wireless radio.

NOTE:

If the status is disabled, the interface gets shutdown.

•

Operational Mode

: Select the Operational Mode.

NOTES:

• If the Access Point’s model number ends with -JP, then you can configure the Radio1 only in 11a\11na and

Radio2 can be configured for 11b\g\ng.

• Russia does not support the following:

— 11n modes
