3.3 Creating Global Hot Spare
A global hot spare can be used to replace a failed physical disk in any redundant
array as long as the capacity of the global hot spare is equal to or larger than the
coerced capacity of the failed physical disk.
To create a global hot spare:
1.
While in WebBIOS CU main screen, select Drives option.
2.
Select an un-configured drive and tick Properties the click Go.
