Protege™ Integrated System User Manual 

4.0 EVENTS 

 

 

Events are logged for all actions that are performed on the Protégé 
System and can be viewed from the LCD Keypad. Events are 
presented in plain text on the keypad. 
 

To manage your system effectively and get detailed, 
exception and custom reports direct to your desktop 
ask your security professional about the Protégé 
System Management Suite. 
 

4.1 VIEWING EVENTS 

 

Viewing events can be accessed from the event review menu or from 
the offline menu. For information on offline menu functions refer to 
the Offline Menu Operation section on Page 82
 
Viewing Events 
Enter your [USER CODE] to logon to the keypad. Refer to the Logon 

Keypad Section on Page 18. 
 

Select the event review sub menu item 
located in the main menu [       ,    ,    ]
This will take you to the screen 
displaying the most recent event that 

has occurred in the system. To move to 
the previous event press the      key or 
to move to the next event press the  
key. 
 
The first 32 characters of the event will
