Operate the controls to manoeuvre the slew arm so it is perpendicular to the
main frame and lock in position with the slew lock pin
Ensure the weight is fully lowered.
Operate the controls to fully retract the rear leg, front hydraulic legs (if fitted)
and hydraulic counter balance weight (if fitted).
Fit all safety locking bars.
Always unhitch from tractor on level, stable ground.
Store the hydraulic hose in a clean, secure place.
The Post Driver must be stored in a position to be easily reconnected to the
tractor.
Maintenance of the Post Driver
Daily
Check the lift rope for any signs of wear. If in doubt, change the rope.
Check hydraulic hoses for any signs of wear. If in doubt change the hose.
Grease the mast where the driver weight runs.
Grease all pivots
Check all nuts and bolts are tight.
Weekly
Check the hydraulics for leaks
Check the rope pulleys turn freely
Check all pivots for wear
