Environment
The MPC 900 is operable within 10-40 degrees C, and 20-90% humidity (non-
condensing). The MPC 900 is classed as: Over-Voltage Category II, and Pollution
Category II.

Failures
Certain circumstances may result in a totally nonfunctional instrument. We will refer to
these types of faults as general failures. The following cases describe preliminary
checks which should be performed.

Fuses
The presence of at least partial power inside the instrument is indicated if the backlight
on the display is illuminated. If not, switch the power off and check the line fuses and
main voltage selection. If the fuses are blown, insure that the fuse ratings correctly
match the power entry voltage selection. Next check your power receptacle for correct
wiring and grounding. Replace the fuses and once again apply power. If the instrument
blows the replacement fuses and all else is correct, contact the factory for assistance.
