Connecting to the Internet Using the ICX35-HWC

Internet connectivity through the ICX35-HWC is achieved using the following steps:

Connect the laptop LAN port to the Ethernet port on the ICX35-HWC.

On the laptop, set the

TCP/IPv4

properties:

Where:

•

IP address

= The assigned IP address of your laptop.

•

Default gateway

= The assigned IP address of the ICX35-HWC IP.

•

Preferred DNS Server

= 8.8.8.8 (Google)

•

Alternate DNS Server

= 8.8.4.4 (Google alternate)

Click

Open your web browser on your laptop to connect to the internet.
