Configuring the Client

Enable

Username

Password

Provide the

Certificate Authority

Client Certificate

Client Key

files.

Note: All authentication methods (Username/Password, Certification, and Key) must be valid

in order for the client to connect to the server.

Configuring the Server

Create a user by typing:

useradd <username>

Add a password to the new user:

passwd <username>

and enter the

password.

Edit the server configuration file by adding the following line:

plugin /usr/lib/openvpn/openvpn-plugin-auth-pam.so login
