Warranty ProvISIonS
We guarantee completeness and freedom from
defects at the time the sale is made.
Repairs may be undertaken exclusively by impor-
ters, service centers or dealers who have been
authorized to do so by PLI.
The warranty period shall be two years from the
date of purchase subject to the requirement that
use is made as described in the usage directives.
Parts which are subject to normal wear-and-tear
(e.g., batteries) are not covered by the warranty.
Defects discovered within the warranty period
must be reported directly to the authorized dealer
or the service center so that the cause can be de-
termined. If it is not possible to repair the defects,
then the product shall be exchanged.
The timeframe required for making repairs shall
be dependent upon the type of defect.
The Buyer shall assume the costs for the delivery
and pick-up of the device.
The warranty to be provided by PLI shall be limited
to the amount of the purchase price. The Buyer
shall be entitled to no more extensive claims.
In the following cases, the warranty claim shall
not apply:
a) No receipt can be presented.
b) The Buyer or a non-authorized person has at-
tempted to repair the device.
c) The defect was caused through improper
usage upon the part of the Buyer, particularly
through non-adherence to the usage
directives.
d) In the event of obvious damage caused by
fluids, by the device being dropped or
e) through blunt force exerted during the usage
of the product.
