3.

Remove the valve cap using an Allen key to remove the 6

screws.

4.

Remove the individual components of the valves. In doing so,

note the alignment of the valve caps to each other (arrow).

The valve caps need to be refitted correctly aligned to each

other.

5.

Check the surfaces of the valve balls and valve seats for

wear and damage.

ð

Replace worn or damaged parts.

6.

Install a new set of valve balls and/or valve seats.
Ensure that the ball guides (taper points to the ball) are

installed as shown in the figure.

7.

Fit the valve cap using an Allen key to tighten the screws.
Torque:

n

Bottom plastic seal = 2 Nm.

n

Bottom metal seal = 5 Nm.

8.

Tighten the screws (torque 5 Nm) to install the directional

valve. Note the alignment of the directional valve.

9.

Check all seals and O-rings for consistent and undamaged

installation.

Attach the air supply line to the double diaphragm pump

2.

Open the compressed air supply

3.

Open the discharge line of the double diaphragm pump

4.

Open the suction line of the double diaphragm pump

Now the double diaphragm pump can pump again

Check all connectors for leak-tightness

After maintenance work

Maintenance of the double diaphragm pump
