Decommissioning

WARNING!

Before any work, disconnect the

device's mains cable from the

mains.

Danger from chemical residue
There is normally chemical residue in

the measuring pipe and housing after

operation. This chemical residue could

be hazardous to people.

It is essential that the safety infor‐

mation in the “Storage, transport

and unpacking” chapter is read

before shipping or transport.

–

Thoroughly clean the measuring

pipe and the housing to remove

chemicals and dirt. Pay attention

to the material safety data sheet

for the feed chemical.

Should a dangerous or unknown feed

chemical be used: it may escape from

the hydraulic components when

working on the unit.

Take appropriate protective meas‐

ures before working on the unit

(safety glasses, safety gloves, ...).

Drain and flush the measuring

pipe before working on the unit.
