1 measuring cylinder which can be read sufficiently accurately

The suction line of the metering pump is fed bubble-free into the measuring cylinder.
1.
Record the fluid level in the measuring cylinder.
2.
Use the
[arrow keys] to move from the ‘calibration stroke feedback’ menu item to the
‘calibration quantity’ menu item and press [P].
ð
The
‘quantity corr. factor’ menu item appears.
3.
Use the
[arrow keys] to move from the ‘quantity corr. factor’ menu item to the ‘quantity
meas. value’ menu item and press [P].
ð
The
‘actual volume’ menu item appears.
4.
Start the metering pump.
Select the number of strokes so that the reading error at the measuring cylinder (half
of the smallest readable volume divided by the metered total volume) is smaller than
the measuring error of the DulcoFlow
®
5.
Stop the metering pump.
6.
Record the fluid level in the measuring cylinder and calculate the differential value.
7.
Press
[P].

The
‘nominal volume’ menu item appears.
8.
Use the
[arrow keys] to adjust the value in the ‘nominal volume’ menu item to this differential
value and press
[P].
ð
The
‘corr. factor’ menu item appears. It shows the calculated correction factor.
9.
Press
[P] to return to the continuous display.
It is also possible to manually calculate the correction factor and enter it directly in
‘corr. factor’ -
‘corr. factor’ .
