For any possible update of the documentation concerning the product and
its functionalities (for example: availability of SW upgrades, release of
new applications, etc.), it is recommended to visit the internet site
www.alessitab.eu periodically.
2 Requirements for using the product
For best use of AlessiTab² and the related services, it is necessary to have available:

An active Wi-Fi connection . For security reasons it is recommended
to exclusively use Wi-Fi connections that are protected with a
password (WEP/WPA/WPA2 keys).
You can verify the settings of
your own network by referring to the user manual of the Wi-Fi router.
In order to be able to save pictures taken by AlessiTab² and videos
recorded with the device’s onboard camera, as well as to download
some files from the internet and/or possible upgrades of the applica-
tions (whenever available), it may be necessary to add a
SD/SDHC
memory card in the suitable connector located on the rear of the
Tablet.
3 Description of the product
3.1 Tablet Unit “AlessiTab²”
The Tablet can operate either with the power supply directly connected
to the main electrical network, or with the onboard battery, until depletion
of its recharge. Recharging of the battery can be obtained either connec-
ting the power supply directly to the connector located on the rear of the
Tablet (
3.3 ), or placing the Tablet on its Base ( 3.4 ) and connecting the
base to a power socket.
