Initial operation
Before initial operation, it is necessary to vent the jack, as air may have entered the system during transport.
See the "Venting" section on the next page.
After venting, the jack is ready for use.
Lifting:
- Place the jack under the load to be lifted.
Make sure that the jack lies correctly against the vehicle at the attachment points provided for this purpose.
Please observe the specifications of the vehicle manufacturer.
- Close the relief valve by turning the pump lever clockwise.
- Pump the load to the desired height and support it underneath with stands.
The jack should only be used for lifting and lowering loads.
Permanent holding of loads is not permitted.
Sink:
Always lower loads slowly and in a controlled manner.
Lowering too quickly can cause the load to become uncontrollable and cause injury and
damage to objects.
- Slowly turn the pump lever anticlockwise.
- When the vehicle is safely back on the ground, the jack can be pulled out.
Entlüften:
1. Place the jack on a level surface and insert the pump lever into the receptacle.
2. Remove the cover plate.
3. Turn the pump lever anticlockwise by at least one full turn.
4. Hold the pump lever in this position and perform several pumping movements.
5. Turn the pump lever clockwise until it stops.
6. Hold the pump lever in this position and pump until the lift arm has reached maximum height.
7. Perform a few more pumping movements.
8. Carefully remove the rubber plug from the oil filler aperture to vent the air from the system.
9. Insert the rubber plug and completely release the lift arm by turning the pump lever anticlockwise. If the lift
arm is not fully lowered, press the lift plate by hand.
10. Replace the cover plate.
11. Turn the pump lever clockwise until it stops.
12. Perform a function test.
If malfunctions continue to occur, repeat the above steps and perform another functional test.
Check the oil level:
1. Place the jack on a level surface and completely release the lift arm by turning the pump lever
anticlockwise. If the lift arm is not fully lowered, press the lift plate by hand.
2. Remove the cover plate.
3. Remove the rubber plug from the oil filling aperture and set up the jack vertically with the pump lever holder
facing down.
4. The hydraulic cylinder should be filled with hydraulic oil up to the lower edge of the oil filling aperture.
If this is not the case, the hydraulic oil must be topped up.
5. Insert the rubber plug and mount the cover plate.
6. Perform a function test and vent the system if necessary (see section: "Venting").
