18) TRANSPORT AND HANDLING

Loading and unloading operations must be done with appropriate equipment (forklift, crane…), using
the lifting points especially made for this.

The control panels are equipped, when necessary, with holes closed by caps, which can be used to
mount lifting rings, at the top of the enclosure. In this case, the use of an adapted lifting spreader
or lifting slings with an angle maximum of 15 degrees is necessary.

In all cases, those handling must be done by qualified and authorized people.

Those people must be equipped with individual protection equipment (gloves, safety glasses, safety
shoes ...). They will take care to never be located under the load.

During handling, operator will check the correct balancing of the load, in order to avoid any tilt of
the equipment.

The number of lifting points used for handling will have to avoid distorsions of the structure of the
control panel (for example in case of multi cells electrical panel).

At the end of lifting operations, the caps must be put back in place for sealing reasons.
