HOW TO MOVE THE CROSSTRAINER
Before moving the CROSSTRAINER, make sure that the bench and treadmill are folded to the storage
position, and that the lock pins are fully engaged (see HOW TO FOLD THE TREADMILL TO THE STOR-
AGE POSITION on page 11, and HOW TO FOLD THE BENCH TO THE STORAGE POSITION on page 14).
To move the CROSSTRAINER, first hold the handrails
and place one foot on the base as shown.
Next, tilt the CROSSTRAINER back until it rolls freely on
the front wheels. Carefully move the CROSSTRAINER to
the desired location. Place one foot on the base, and
carefully lower the CROSSTRAINER until it is resting on
the base. Never move the CROSSTRAINER without
tipping it back, or the base pads may come off. To re-
duce the risk of injury, use extreme caution while
moving the CROSSTRAINER. Do not move the
CROSSTRAINER over an uneven surface.

c. If the walking belt slips when walked on, first remove
the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD. Using the
allen wrench, turn both rear roller adjustment bolts clock-
wise, 1/4 of a turn. When the walking belt is correctly
tightened, you should be able to lift each side of the walk-
ing belt 3 to 4 inches off the walking platform. The centre
of the walking belt should just touch the walking platform.
Be careful to keep the walking belt centred. Plug in the power cord, insert the key and run the
treadmill for a few minutes. Repeat until the walking belt is properly tightened.
PROBLEM: The walking belt slows when walked on
SOLUTION: a. Use only a CUL-listed surge protector, rated at 15 amps, with a 14-gauge cord of five feet or less
in length.
b. If the walking belt is overtightened, treadmill perfor-
mance may decrease and the walking belt may be
permanently damaged. Remove the key and UN-
