SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT
THE DEVICE MUST ALWAYS BE STORED AND TRANSPORTED IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION,
OTHERWISE IRREPARABLE DAMAGE MAY BE CAUSED TO THE COMPRESSOR. DO NOT
PUT THE DEVICE INTO OPERATION UNTIL 24 HOURS AFTER INSTALLATION.

Please read the instructions carefully before installing and/or using the device.

This appliance is intended for indoor use only.

This appliance may only be connected to a 220-240V/50Hz earthed socket.

The installation must be in accordance with the regulations of the country where the device is
used.

If you have any doubts about the suitability of your electrical supply, have it checked and, if
necessary, modified by a qualified electrician.

This air conditioner has been tested and is safe for use. However, as with any electrical
appliance, caution is advised.

Unplug the unit before disassembling, assembling or cleaning it.

Do not touch the moving parts of the appliance.

Never insert fingers, pencils or other objects through the grille.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities. It is also not intended for use by persons lacking experience and knowledge, unless
they have been supervised or instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.

Do not allow children to work with this appliance without supervision.

Do not clean the appliance by spraying or immersing it in water.

Never connect the appliance to an electrical outlet using an extension cord. If an outlet is not
available, one must be installed by a qualified electrician.

Only use the appliance if it is fully installed according to the instructions in this manual.

Never use the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged. Make sure the power cord is not
stretched or exposed to sharp objects/plugs.

A damaged power cord should be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified electrician to
avoid danger.

Any maintenance other than regular cleaning or replacement of filters must be performed by
an authorized service representative. Failure to do so may result in voiding the warranty.

Do not use the unit for any purpose other than that for which it is intended.

Do not restart the unit until 3 minutes have elapsed since it was switched off. This prevents
damage to the compressor.

Never use the mains plug as a switch to turn the device on or off. Use the supplied ON/OFF
button on the control panel.

The unit must not be installed in laundry rooms or humid areas.

The appliance must be installed in an area free of sources of ignition (e.g.: open flames, a
working gas appliance or an operating electric heater).

The device must be installed by a technically competent person on a solid vertical wall. The
electrical power supply should not be connected until the installation is complete.

R290 refrigerant gas complies with European environmental directives.
