5. SECURITy TIPS
l
Obey absolutely valid regulations on the electrical security.
l
When operating suitable protective gloves must be worn.
l
Never run pump dry.
l
Never run pump against pressure.
l
Pumping inflammable, as well as all other aggressive liquids, except of diesel or fuel oil,
is prohibited.
l
Never pump liquid food products.
l
Before usage, check on the tightness of the hose clamps.
l
Pay attention to the max. liquid temperature of 35°C.
l
Never pull the pump on the electrical cable or pressure hose.
l
Disconnect the plug immediately from the power grid when the line has been damaged or
severed.
l
Switch off pump immediately after usage.
l
Don’t move the pump in any way, while it’s running.
l
During longer unused times, clean the pump, wash it out with diesel or fuel oil, dry and
store it at room temperature.
l
ALWAYS supervise and watch the pump, while using
l
The electrical connections are always to be carried out by an authorised professional.
l
The pump may be used by children aged 8 years and above as well as persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or those who lack skills, experience and
knowledge only if they are supervised. These aforementioned persons should only use the
appliance while adhering to safe instructions and resulting dangers.
l
Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
l
The pump must be protected from rain and moisture. The pump may only be operated in
dry rooms. The ingress of water into the energized components of the pump increases the
risk of electric shock.

To take over no responsibility in the case of accidents or damages on the basis of carelessness or
disregard to the instructions in this user manual.

To reject every responsibility for the damages which originate from the improper use of the pump.
7. GUARANTEE REGULATIONS
For all manufacturing and material defects, the statutory warranty applies. In these cases we
take the replacement or repair of the pump. Shipping costs shall not be borne by our compa-
ny, except as required by law. Please report the warranty on our service platform http://www.
profi-pumpe.de/service.php. We will inform you how to proceed with case-related. Please mark
returns sufficient postage. Unfortunately not prepaid returns can not be accepted because they
are filtered out before destination. We provide our service in Germany.
The warranty does not cover:
l
Material wear (sealing rings, impeller wheels, impeller chambers)
l
Unjustified interventions or changes in the pump
l
Damages by selffault
l
Improper servicing and improper use
l
DRY RUNNIG (Also partially!) of the pump
Moreover, we give no damage compensation for secondary damages!
6. SERVICING
Under normal pumping conditions the pump requires no servicing.
But it is important to keep the suctions and delivery sections perfectly clean and free
from all clogging.
The following controls should be carried out regularly:

Intactness of the electric cable
l
That the connection hoses are not bent or broken
l
Cleanness of the pump medium
Moreover, the pump should be emptied at risk of frost, be washed out with diesel/fuel oil
and stored dry.

The pump won’t
start
No power supply
Check the clamps and safety devices
Impeller jammed
Check for signs of damage and clogging. Reassemble.
Motor malfunction
Contact your dealer.
The suction of
the pump is not
working
Leak in suction lines or
connections
Check the suction pipe and all connections for tight-
ness. Fill the suction hose and the pump. Suction
hose must be laid in a constantly rising, so that air
bubbles can escape towards the pump
Reduced flow
Tank liquid level too low Fill up the tank.
By-pass valve jammed Clean and reassemble
Air in the suction tube
Make sure that the suction tube is not damaged
Filter clogged
Clean the filter.
Leakage of Diesel oil.
Check the connectors and gaskets.
The suction tube is
resting on the bottom of
the tank.
Raise the tube in the tank.
Excessive suction height. Lower the level of the pump.
