Parallel cutting guide
Loosen the parallel guide adjustment knob (4) and place the cutting guide in the
parallel guide mounting slots (5).
Set the desired cutting width using the scale on the cutting guide and the guide notch
in the base plate (14).
The right recess in the base plate is for a 0° cutting angle. The left recess in the base
plate is for a 45° cutting angle.
Tighten the adjusting knob (4) again.
Connection of the sawdust extraction device
Attach the dust extraction adapter to the dust extraction port (12).
Optional, depending on the diameter of the dust and chip extractor.
Connect an approved dust and chip extractor.
NOTE: When cutting wood or other materials that release dust hazardous to
health, the unit must always be connected to a suitable, certified action device.
Switching on and off
Push and hold the safety lock of the switch (1) to the left or right.
Press the ON/OFF switch (2). As soon as the saw turns, you can release the safety
lock.
To stop the machine, release the ON/OFF switch.
Setting the cutting angle
You can select the cutting angle using the bevel angle guide (16).
Loosen the chamfer lock knob (15) to set the angle and tighten it again.
Setting the depth of cut
NOTE: Choose a depth of cut of approx. 3mm more than the thickness of the
material. This will ensure that you get a cheap nut.
Loosen the locking screw (18),
set the required cutting depth on the cutting depth scale (19) and tighten the locking
screw (18) again.
Working with the circular saw
1. Switch the machine on - as described in "Switching on and off" - and then
place it with the leading edge of the base plate (10) on the material.
2. Align the machine with the help of the cutting guide or a marked line.
3. Hold the machine by the handle with both hands and saw by exerting even
pressure.
