REAR PANEL
1. INPUT
This is a female XLR connector, which accepts a XLR plug from almost
any type of equipment with a balanced line level outputs. The XLR input
is wired as follows:
Pin 1 = shield or ground
Pin 2 = + positive or "hot"
Pin 3 = - negative or "cold"
NOTE: Whenever possible, use always balanced cables. Unbalanced
lines may also be used but may result in noise over long cable runs.
2. LINK
This XLR male connector is connected in parallel with the XLR input
female connector. This enables a second unit to be daisy-chained to the
fi rst. It’s thus possible to power several speakers using the same signal,
forming more powerful sound reinforcement systems.
3. GND LINK
This switch link the ground of the balanced audio input from the earth-
ground of the amplifi er. If you have HUM noise problem on one or more
loudspeaker try to change the position of these switches (often all up or
all down for all the amplifi ers in the system). Please note that to have an
eff ect all cables must be balanced.
4. LOW CUT
This control fi lters bass frequencies whenever the systems are employed
as satellites.
5. COUPLED UNITS EQ
This control reduces the increment of mid-low frequencies due to the
simultaneous use of two or more systems side by side.
6. HF LIFT
This control allows the high frequency response to be increased when
necessary.
7. EXTENDED LOW
This control extends response at low frequencies.
8. MULTIPLE UNITS EQ
This control reduces the increase in level of the upper low frequency range
(80 Hz) due to the simultaneous use of two or more systems
.
9. INFRA LPF
The combination of the two controls, 7 and 8, realizes a fi lter suitable for
INFRA BASS applications.
10. ON
Blue LED: when lighted indicates amplifi er has been turned on and AC
power is available.
11. PROTECT
Red LED illuminates when the amplifi er module is in protect mode for
one of the following reasons:
• The heatsink reaches a temperature above the normal working limit.
• There is a short circuit at the amplifi er output wires.
• The amplifi er output stages are faulty.
Consequently the amplifier is muted until the reason of fault is
removed.
PANNELLO POSTERIORE
1. INPUT
Questo è un connettore femmina XLR che accetta XLR maschi da tutti gli
apparecchi con un livello di uscita linea bilanciato. Le terminazioni dell'
ingresso XLR sono:
Pin 1 = schermo o massa
Pin 2 = + positivo o "caldo"
Pin 3 = - negativo o "freddo"
NOTA: Qualora possibile, usare sempre cavi bilanciati. Cavi sbilanciati
possono essere ugualmente usati ma potrebbero dare problemi di
rumore se molto lunghi.
2. LINK
Questo è un connettore XLR maschio connesso in parallelo con il
connettore XLR femmina di ingresso, rendendo possibile il collegamento
in cascata di una seconda unità. In questo modo è possibile inviare lo
stesso segnale a più casse, per formare un più complesso e potente
sistema di rinforzo del suono.
3. GND LINK
Questo interuttore collega la massa dell'ingresso audio bilanciato dalla
massa-terra dell'amplifi catore. Se si hanno problemi di ronzio su uno o
più altoparlanti provare a cambiare la posizione di questi interruttori:
perchè abbiano eff etto spesso occorre siano tutti su o tutti giù per tutti
gli amplifi catori e che tutti i cavi siano bilanciati.
4. LOW CUT
Questo controllo fi ltra le basse frequenze nel caso i sistemi siano utilizzati
come satelliti.
5. COUPLED UNITS EQ
Questo controllo riduce l’aumento del livello delle frequenze medio basse
dovuto all’utilizzo di due o più sistemi affi ancati.
6.HF LIFT
Questo controllo, quando necessario, permette di aumentare la risposta
alle alte frequenze.
7. EXTENDED LOW
Questo controllo estende la risposta alle estreme basse frequenze.
8. MULTIPLE UNITS EQ
Questo controllo riduce l’aumento del livello delle frequenze basse
superiori (80 Hz) dovuto all’utilizzo di due o più sistemi affi ancati.
9. INFRA LPF
La combinazione dei due controlli, 7 e 8, realizza un fi ltro adeguato per
applicazioni INFRA
10. ON
LED BLU: quando acceso indica che l'altoparlante è stato acceso e
l'alimentazione AC è disponibile.
10. PROTECT
LED rosso che si accende quando l'amplifi catore è in modalità protetta
per uno dei seguenti motivi:
• Il dissipatore ha superato la temperatura limite di lavoro.
• È presente un corto circuito sui cavi di uscita.
• Lo stadio di uscita si è guastato.
Conseguentemente l'amplificatore resta spento finchè il motivo del
guasto non sarà rimosso.
