Warning
• The use of this water tube and participation in water sports involves an inherent risk
of injury.
• Always wear a personal floatation device which has been approved to ISO 12402-5
standards.
• Avoid making sharp turns with the boat at high speed, as this can cause the water
tube to flip over, possibly resulting in injury to the rider.
• Do not tow the water tube with a rope designed for water skiing.
• Use a tow rope which is strong and suitable for towing inflatable leisure craft.
The tow rope should be at least 15 metres in length but not longer than 19 metres.
Warning
• The water tube must not be used by a greater number of persons than is depicted
on the warning symbol printed on the water tube.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the boat driver, the observer/s and the rider/s of the water
tube are outlined below.
a) General:
The driver of the towing boat has overall responsibility for the safe operation of
the towed product.
b) The boat driver:
The driver of the towing boat is responsible for ensuring that any adaptable devices
on the towed craft are adapted to suit the rider/s of the towed craft. Ensure that
the rider/s is properly seated on the water tube before starting to accelerate.
Obey all driving and speed rules related to safety and to the towing area being used.
c) Observer/s:
The rider/s must be under constant observation, therefore the use of jet skis as towing
craft is not recommended. The observer/s must agree upon communication signals with
the rider/s. The observer/s must ensure that all communication between the rider/s
and the boat driver is clear and easy to understand under all circumstances.
d) The rider/s:
Familiarise yourself with the water tube, learn how it works and how it should be
used. Learn all the hand signals used for communication between the towing
craft and riders of the towed water tube. Familiarise yourself with the purpose and
function of the connection/separation device between the water tube and tow rope.
Read and understand all warning text and safety symbols in the instruction manual
and on the water tube.
