THIS WATER TUBE IS NOT A LIFE RAFT OR LIFE SAVING DEVICE.
FOR SWIMMERS ONLY
To reduce the risk of accident, injury or drowning; read the following safety instructions:
• This water tube must only be used by persons over the age of 6 years.
• Do not pass hands or feet through the handle, towline loop or fastener.
• Avoid sudden movements as they can cause the water tube to tip over, which can
lead to personal injury.
• Do not use the water tube at speeds which exceed the user’s ability.
• Never exceed the people carrying capacity of the water tube as recommended by
the manufacturer. Find out what the maximum people carrying capacity for your
particular water tube is.
• The max load capacity of the water tube is 125 kg.
• This water tube must not be used whilst under the influence of alcohol or medicine.
• Keep all parts of your body above the surface of the water.
• Before starting, make sure that the tow rope runs freely and that there is no danger
of anyone getting tangled in it.
• The driver of the towing boat is responsible for controlling the steering of the water
tube since it cannot be controlled by the rider.
• Apart from the boat driver, there should always be at least one other person in
the boat who can keep watch on the person using the water tube.
• Avoid making sharp turns with the boat, as this can cause the water tube to flip
over, possibly resulting in injury to the rider.
• Never use the water tube in shallow water or near land, jetties, other boats or
people in the water.
• The water tube must not be used in strong winds, strong currents, around rocks,
coral reefs or on open water.
• Do not leave the water tube close to the water when it is not in use.
• Never modify the water tube. Doing so can affect its safety.
