Operation
1. Make sure that the mattress is laid on a level surface free from stones and sharp
objects.
2. Only use a foot pump or hand pump to inflate the mattress.
NOTE:
Do not use compressed air; the mattress cannot withstand high pressures.
3. Make sure that all the valves are properly closed after inflation.
4. Squeeze the valve to open the non-return valve when deflating the mattress and
keep the valve open with a small object. Be careful not to damage the mattress.
Care and maintenance
If the mattress is not to be used for a long time:
• Make sure that it is clean and dry.
• Store it in a dark and cool place, but no cooler than +5 ºC.
• Make sure that no sharp objects or edges can damage the mattress.
Small holes can be repaired using the provided patch
1. Localise the leak.
2. Drain the mattress of air.
3. Clean the area around the leak and make sure it is dry.
4. Cut the repair patch to the correct size and press it over the hole.
5. Allow the repair to dry for 24 hours before using the mattress again.
6. If the puncture/hole is larger than 2.5 cm (1 inch), use a silicon- or rubber-based
adhesive to apply the supplied or other suitable repair patch over the hole.
Read the instructions on the adhesive and make sure it is suitable for inflatable
mattresses.
