4. Check the heater for damage before each use. Do not use a damaged heater.
5. Check the hose before each use of the heater. If highly worn or cut, replace
the hose.
6. Inspect the hose/regulator assembly before each use.
7. Keep all connections and fittings clean. Make sure the propane tank valve
outlet is clean. Check the rubber O-ring on the heater inlet fuel connection for
damage before each use. Replace if worn or damaged.
8. Keep the heater clean.
9. Do not alter the heater. Keep the heater in its original state. Do not use the
heater if altered.
10. Use only original replacement parts. This heater uses design-specific parts. Do
not substitute or use generic parts. Improper replacement parts could cause
serious or fatal injuries.
11. Only use accessories intended for use with this tool.
12. Maintain the tool’s labels and name plates. These carry important information.
If unreadable or missing, contact Princess Auto Ltd. for replacements.
NOTICE! Have the heater inspected yearly by a qualified service technician.
WARNING! Only qualified service personnel should repair the tool. An
improperly repaired tool may present a hazard to the user and/or others.
INSPECTING THE BURNER
To check for correct burner flame, look through the ventillation holes in the
top of the heater to see the burner flame. The burner flame should be mostly
blue with slight yellow colouring on the ends. If the burner flame is mostly
yellow, the primary air openings on the burn tube uder the heater base may
be blocked.
1. Stop the heater (see the section To Stop The Heater) and allow the heater
to cool down.
2. Turn the heater over to locate the primary air openings on the burn tube.
Remove any debris blocking the primary air openings.
WARNING! The heater shell, top, and heated air from the heater is very hot
during operation. Gradually move in closer to the heater to observe the
