Bilge Pump
The boat is equipped with an 1100 gph bilge pump. This pump is
installed as far aft as possible in the bilge.
To check the operation of the bilge pump, first turn the bilge pump
on at the instrument panel by pressing the bilge pump switch to
the on or forward position. When the bilge pump switch is in the
on position, the switch light should be illuminated. To check and
see if the bilge pump is operating, open the hatch over the
applicable bilge pump and listen to hear the bilge pump running.
Second, turn the bilge pump off at the instrument panel and
check the bilge pump float switch.
The bilge pump is equipped with an automatic float switch (white box) that is mounted in close proximity
to the pump. As long as your boat is equipped with an operable battery, the pump will operate
automatically when water is present in the area. The float switch is equipped with two plastic knobs
located on either side of the switch. Turn either one of the knobs to raise the float to engage the bilge
pump. If the pump comes on, the automatic float is operating properly. It is recommended that you
check the operation of the automatic float switch monthly.
Fish Boxes with Macerator Pumps
Your boat is equipped with 1 forward and 2 aft fish boxes with a combined capacity of 145 gallons. The
large fish box on the forward casting deck has a capacity of 113 gallons and is plumbed to a forward fish
box pump. This forward fish box pump is installed below the floor hatch located forward of the seat on
the front of the console. The port and starboard fish boxes in the aft cockpit area each have a 15-gallon
capacity and they are both plumbed to an aft fish box pump that is installed below the floor hatch over the
aft bilge area.
The fish box macerator pumps are each equipped with an automatic float switch. These two pumps drain
the fish boxes and/or macerate any fish particles. As the fish boxes drain, water and/or debris travel to
the collector box attached to the pump and then to the fish box macerator pump which pumps the water
and/or debris overboard.
The fish box macerator pumps operate on separate 2-way rocker switches (labeled Fish Box) that are
located on the switch panel.
Note: The switch panel has two fish box switches. The switch on the top row of switches
operates the forward fish box pump. The fishbox switch on the bottom row operates the
aft fish box pump.
To properly operate the fish box macerator pump, fill either the forward or aft fish boxes with water. Then
depress the applicable the fish box switch to the forward position. The water and fish particles will be
pumped out of the tubs and then overboard via the applicable fish box thru hull on the side of the boat.
