3.4 OPERATION IN AUTOMATIC MODE
If no DMX control signal is detected on DMX connector, the yellow MASTER LED is turned on and the unit
will perform the Show in automatic mode. To choose a different automatic mode:
• Press the MENU button to access the functions and use the UP and DOWN buttons until the display
shows ShNd , then press the ENTER button.
• Press the UP and DOWN buttons to choose the desided program between
Sh 1

Sh 2
,
Sh 3
,
Sh 4
.
• To confirm the choice, press the ENTER button.
Four different show programmes are available which differ in the maximum panning and tilting angles for
the moving head:
• Show 1 is provided for placing the unit on the floor. The maximum tilting angle is 210°.
• Show 2 is provided for ceiling mounting. The maximum tilting angle is 90°.
• Show 3 is provided for setting up the unit on stage towards the audience. The panning angle is 160° and
the tilting angle 90° (60° above the horizontal plane and 30° below the horizontal plane).
• Show 4 is also provided for ceiling mounting. The maximum rotating angle is 160° and the maximum
tilting angle 90° (75° to the front and 15° to the rear).
3.5 MUSIC CONTROL
• Press the MENU button to access the functions and use the UP and DOWN buttons until the display
shows

• Select, by using the UP and DOWN buttons,

to enable or disable the music control.
• To confirm the choice, press the ENTER button.
For music control adjust the control SENSITIVITY (12) for the microphone sensitivity so that the dynamic
power of the music will be reproduced in an optimum way by the movements of the light beam and the
change of the light patterns and colours.
Note: when changing the volume of the music system, the microphone sensitivity must be adapted accord-
ingly via the rotary control.
3.6 OPERATION IN MASTER/SLAVE MODE
This mode allows to connect more units without a controller. The first unit will be set as Master and the oth-
ers will work as slave with the same effects. To create a unit chain do the following:
• Connect the DMX OUT of the master unit via a 3-pole XLR cable to the DMX IN of the first slave unit.
• Connect the DMX OUT of the first slave unit to the DMX IN of the second slave unit, etc. until all units are
connected in a chain.
In some conditions and lenghts it is better to do a termination as shown in page 12. As soon as the control
signals from the master unit are present at the slave units, their red LED SLAVE will light up. The movements
of the slave units may be in sync with the master unit or be precisely opposite to it (e. g. if only one slave unit
is used). To choose the movement mode:
• Press the MENU button to access the functions and use the UP and DOWN buttons until the display
shows

• To confirm the choice press the ENTER button by the time of 8 seconds.
