Down Converter Aspect Ratios 

 

A Down-Converter always converts a 16:9 input picture to a 4:3 aspect ratio output.  The V6404/18 gives 
four options in the 

VIDEO

for V6418).  They are shown diagrammatically 

below. Note that some conversion settings result in a loss of parts of the original picture (indicated by 
hatched areas).
