14 Setting up the DSKs
The individual setup of the DSKs may be modified using the DSK page(s)
on the LCD touchscreen. To access this from the home page, press the
<DSK> button. The screen displays the current settings for each DSK.
Percentage bars and buttons for setting DSK1 are shown in the top half
of the screen, while those for DSK2 are shown below. The options are as
follows (one set for each DSK):
· <SELF/EXT> - Sets the keyers operational mode between self or
external keying.
·
<SLOW> , <MED> or <FAST> - Used to set the fade rate for
manual DSKs in numbers of frames.
·
Clip - the bar displays the current clip value as a percentage. This
can be changed using the left hand shaft encoder.
·
Gain - the bar displays the current gain value as a percentage.
This can be changed using the right hand shaft encoder.
·
<DSK X Lin’r> - Forces the DSK Clip and Gain settings to the
correct values for Linear keying.
