Dry ironing
WARNING
Risk of burns!
The appliance will become
very hot during operation.
Touching hot components
may cause serious burns!

Do not leave the appliance
unsupervised and keep out
of reach of children when
plugged in and/or still hot.
■
Always remain attentive
when ironing.
■
Make sure that there is no
risk of other persons, espe-
cially children, or pets burn-
ing themselves on the ap-
pliance.
■
Never leave the appliance
upright on the work surface.
■
Do not iron textiles while
they are being worn.
1. Always place the steam iron (a)
firmly on the thermal rest (6) of
the steam generator iron (b).
2. To switch on the steam gen-
erator iron, press the On/Off
button (9).
The indicator light (15) will
come on to indicate that the
appliance is connected to the
power.
3. Turn the temperature control
dial (3) to the desired iron
setting.
The iron setting light (4) will
come on.
4. Once the desired iron temper-
ature setting is reached, the
iron setting light will go out
and you can start ironing.
Refreshing textiles
1. Hang up the garments that
you would like to smooth
and refresh e.g. on a clothes
hanger.
2. Hold the steam iron (a) verti-
cally at least one metre away
from the garment.
3. To spray steam from the sol-
eplate (5) push the steam
button (2).
4. Repeat the process for tough
creases.
