8.2.4 CPU Configuration Submenu
Appears when [CPU Configuration] is selected from the [Advanced] menu.
This submenu configures CPU setting.

Adjacent Sector Prefetch
• Disabled
• Enabled (at the time of
purchase)
Configures the CPU internal setting.
Hyper-Threading Function
• Disabled
• Enabled (at the time of
purchase)
Sets whether or not to run one CPU as a dual-
processing CPU. The setting [Enabled] may
enhance processing performance by allowing
maximum use of the CPU resources.
Note:
Some operating systems and applications
do not support the Hyper-Threading
function. When setting [Hyper-Threading] to
[Enabled], confirm that the Hyper-Threading
function is supported in the OS vendor and
application vendor.
