Battery Pack Removal
1. Remove the key from the key switch.
2. Remove the seat by pulling it straight up and off of
the Travel Scooter.
3. Remove the battery compartment cover.

4. Unfasten the battery pack securement strap.
5. Disconnect the battery harnesses on the battery
pack from the mating plugs on the Travel Scooter.
6. Lift the battery pack up and out of the battery com-
partment.
Battery Replacement
1. Unzip the battery pack and carefully slide the bat-
teries out.
2. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery
terminals of both batteries.
3. Reconnect the battery cables to the battery termi-
nals of each new battery.

Red and white cables to (+) positive terminals.
Black and green cables to (-) negative terminals.
4. Insert the batteries into the battery pack, making
sure the battery harnesses extend through the open-
ing in the battery pack.

5. Reinstall the battery pack and fasten the battery
pack securement strap.
6. Connect the battery harnesses extending from the
battery pack to their colour-coded mating har-
nesses extending from the Travel Scooter.
7. Reinstall the battery compartment cover.
8. Reinstall the seat.
NOTE: If you encounter a damaged or cracked
battery, immediately enclose it in a plastic bag
and contact your local disposal agency, recycling
center or your authorised Pride Dealer for in-
structions on disposal and battery recycling,
which is our recommended course of action.
