The analog output is enabled only after selecting the range of output 

retransmission from the RANGE mnemonic. 

 
 

RANGE - selects the range of retransmission output as 20mA, 5V or 10V. The 

relation between the engineering unit and electric signal generated in the terminals is 
defined in the same way as shown for linear process scale configuration. Define two 
points P1 (Eng Low, Lim Low) and P2 (Eng High, Lim High) as it is illustrated in 
figure 20. Eng Low is the indication in the display in engineering units  associated to 
the electric signal Lim Low, and Eng High is the indication in display in  engineering 
units associated to the electric signal Lim High. Note that Lim Low and Lim High are 
defined in percentage of output range and that the output signal saturates in these 
points.
