Configuring the Security
Settings
The
Security Settings
sub-menu allows you to activate SNMP (Simple Network
Management Protocol) and IPsec (Internet Protocol security), and restrict access to the
Ether232
Plus by specifying passwords and user IDs.
To configure or change the
Security Settings
, choose Security Settings from the
bottom of the
Device Settings
menu.
The
Security Settings
sub-menu appears on the right side of the Configuration screen,
as shown below.

Remember to save your changes by typing "*" to exit configuration!
