Preparation of the fastener driving tool

The supplied compressed air must be filtered, dry and oiled with
PREBENA special nailer oil.

A compressed air maintenance unit must be mounted on the outlets
for the compressed air line to the fastener driving tool. It should
include
-
a filter,
-
a water separator and
-
an oiler.

If no oiler is mounted, the length of the air line to the fastener driving
tool must be no more than 10 m. Otherwise you must add three
to five drops of PREBENA special nailer oil directly to the air inlet
of the fastener driving tool each day before starting operation.

The compressed air system must be able to withstand
the operating pressure, also including the desired air extraction.

The internal diameter of the air line must be at least 9 mm.

The connection for the fastener driving tool must be equipped with
a quick connection with NW 7.2 and an internal diameter of at least
6.5 mm.
CAUTION
Operating with compressed air systems that do not
meet the preconditions named above may result in
damage to the fastener driving tool.

Operate the fastener driving tool only with suitable compressed air
systems.

The fastener driving tool may only be used when it is in flawless
condition.

Check the condition of the fastener driving tool (see page 16).

Remove the plug from the connection for the compressed air hose.

Check the connection for the compressed air hose for extraneous
objects and if necessary clean it to remove them.

Set the operating pressure on the pressure controller
of the compressor to 5
– 8.3 bar.
