Figure 15 Disassemble spark arrestor
1. Screw off the screw
2. Remove spark arrestor at the tail of exhaust device
3. Clean the carbon on the catching net with carbon brush
4. Reinstall spark arrestor
5. Reinstall the back mask

Check if the catching net has holes or gaps, replace it if necessary.

Spark arrestor should be maintained every 100 hours, in order to ensure its
performance.

With generator just stopped, muffler becomes very hot, wait until it cool before
maintenance.
