Intermediate butterfly valve 

Flanges are mounted on both sides of the butterfly valve

Flange disassembly on one side 

One-sided flange disassembly is possible at any time and has no influence on the 
opposite connection side. 
Temporary usage of butterfly valve with only one flange mounted possible. 
 

ATTENTION: Reduction of pressure if used only with one flange: 

 

DN65 up to DN125  

 

max. 6bar 

 

DN150 up to DN200 

  

max. 4bar 

 
 

ATTENTION: After disassembling a flange on one side, the torque of the 
screws on the mounted side has to be checked again (also see table with 
torques for screws). 
 

 

ATTENTION: Plant operator is responsible for the safety – safety first. 

 

 
 
 

End-of-line valve 

If used as end-of-line butterfly valve, a blind flange has to be mounted on the free 
connection side.
