2.4. Main Menu
Touch MENU button to go into Main Menu.
2.4.1. Calibrate Depth (see Figure 6)
1) Calibration depth option 1
Calibrating depth option1 has four sub-
menus.
a. Set Start Depth.
b. Set Stop Depth.
c. Calibrate.
d. Quit Calibration.
Procedures:

Connect the encoder cable to the box
(see Figure 7).

Check current unit settings (depth,
speed …).

Stop running depth system.

Select a. Set Start Depth and press
OK .

Touch UP or DOWN to move cursor.

Touch number key to input number in a flashing digit.

The number can be got by reading an initial mechanical counter or
initial value which the users expect.
o
Check if the desired unit is the same as the DW display unit.

Touch OK to accept change and cursor will automatically move to b. Set
Stop Depth . Or touch MENU to return.

Start running depth system at least 25m or 80 feet or even more if possible
and then stop.

Select b. Set Stop Depth and touch OK .

Use UP or DOWN to move cursor.

Touch number key to input number in a flashing digit.

The number can be got by reading of mechanical counter or reading
from a measuring ruler plus the initial value.

Touch OK to accept change and the cursor will automatically moves to c.
Calibrate. Or touch MENU to return.

Select c. Calibrate and touch OK to calibrate, or else touch MENU to return.

Select d. Exit Calibration and touch OK to return.
